Started another ketosis phase yesterday

Going to be doing half meals with anpb/whey and the other half with flax/whey. Oh and about 30-40 grams psylium husks a day as well.

Start weight yesterday was 223. Will be carbing up next Fri and hope to be about 220 after carb load. Will then do another liver/gallbladder flush immediately.

When I had it check with a 3 spot calliper before I did my first anpb diet they said it was 24%. The only thing about that is I dont believe it. The reason why is they never asked my weight. I mean if somone who is 180lbs has the same measurement and I am 227lbs it could be a huge difference because of the lean body mass.

The thing I do know is that I have lost over an inch on my midsection. I am also much bigger now.

When I am done with this I will do a liver flush again and then go on a normal lower carb diet. Probably 150 grams/day and fluctuate up to 200-250 on certian lifting days to be able to utilize the insuline spikes after heavy workouts.

Parents are comming in beggining of oct and my wifes parents in end of oct to visit so I think I will hold off any keto diets until they leave. When they are finally gone I will go back to a 2 week on 2 week off keto schedule until I am tired of it or til I feel Ive lost enough fat. ALso be doing liver flushes at least 1 time per month for the next 5 months. I am going to keep flushing until I only have a couple stones come out.

Don't sweat that 24% very much. It's just a number. Caliper tests can vary greatly depending on the skill of the tester anyway. Just worry about the mirror and the way your clothes fit. Sounds like you're making some solid progress so far, good job.

Caliper tests can vary due to: water retention, sodium intake, potassium intake, sweating etc.... which can cause up to a 5% +/- shift in the measurements.

Yeah I figured I was around 20% when it was done. Oh well. I am still too fat so I have a ways to go. Would like to get my waist down to 35" like I was in high school.

Ok today weighed in at 215.5. About what I expected. SHould be around 213 on friday before carb loading. Last time I got down to 216 before the carb load so 3lb is about what I expected for fat loss over 10 days of ketosis. Strength is still going up and muscle gain is still happening. Eating at least 2 solid meals per day. Eggs and chedder cheese.

Should be around 221 after carbup. Will then go on maintenence for a week and then do a liver flush and then go on a 2000-3000 cal day diet alternating the large days for lifting and the light days for non lifting..

why the continual liver flushes--ive done them, but im just curious the need for them every two weeks--is it worth it?

If you have seen the amount of booze I can put down in over a two week peroid you would understand. This spring I went on a two week binge. Averaging a half gallon of mac a day.
