crossbar

neone heard of the crossbar by weider?my dads 57 and trying to get in shape and wanted to get a little home gym thing....something that rolls up easy and doesnt take alot space..it can help me too on the days i dont wanna go to the gym...neone have ne opinions on this product?.....how does it compare to the bowflex?

sorry bro....don't know much about it. I think I've seen a couple ads for it on t.v., but no experience with it. I personally, am not real big on those "10 in 1 home gyms". They're alright I guess, if you have no other options. Why not just get him a membership at a small gym nearby?

I would go with a bench and selectorized dumbbells.Much better.

I've heard of a crossbow? Not sure if Bowflex makes that, or not.

You know, these types of equipment get a bad rap... but for some people, who just want to keep their muscles active and try to stay in shape or help to condition them... these machines will do the trick... hell, going out and walking or jogging will help.

yea i mean.....its for my dad and he doesnt do nething since he retired so i figure its better than nothing....ill occasinaly use it when i am in a rush but he doesnt want to get dumbells or nuttin..just something small so i think it is right for him

It'd work for someone at that fitness level ... I wouldn't suggest it for someone who wants to make serious gains... but for your dad, yes.
