Use of r-ALA while on carnivore diet...

Should I only use r-ALA on the weekends if I'm doing carnivore diet. My average carb intake is between 4-8 g/day, but that is all fiberous and very low gi. Would r-ALA even help at that level?

Man that's TOOOOOOO low don't stay on that to long , make it a couple of weeks and slowly up it 5/10gr a week.

Why do you say that is too low?There are essential amino acids.There are essential fatty acids.There is absolutely no such thing as an essential carbohydrate.It is NOT essential that you eat them.At all.

I say it's to low because I used the atkins low carb diet too good effect, losing 36IIbs of crap Fat, 10grams was my lowest for the first few weeks, felt week on this amount, yea I got energy for workouts but I was week.
after I started uping LOW GI carbs ( up to 50/70gr/day) I still lost weight and had power for the workouts, high fat diets are ok for a few months IMO.

I would not recommend the Atkins diet due to the fact that he doesn't include a refeed.After a few weeks on this your metaboliwsm will slow to a crawl.

I can attest to that from my own experience - I had good weight fat loss for like 9 days and then it almost completely stopped. All it takes is a good clean refeed to ensure no spill over - I'm all about the carnivore.
