More questions for the carnivore diet expert(s):
* This calcium casinate w/o flavoring/sweetener is horrendous - what can I use to make it stomach-able (is that a word?) and if there isn't, can I shoot myself and still be in ketosis? Was thinking of mixing in a half/full scoop of whey to 2/3 cups of casinate - would this glycolize too fast even w/the casinate in the shake?
* Should I be planning to include salads, low gi carbs to some extent, when I can pretty effectively eliminate carbs down to whatever is in mayo (almost nil). Basically, should I go as low as I can or should I add some? If so, from where?
* My friend who I've recruited to the diet with me has hogkins disease (I believe this is the name) that has been effecting his knees so he can't run more than once or twice without them really acting up. Is there a good alternative to sprints? I suggested swimming (very low impact but full body) and sprints on rowing machine (any suggestions on distances/times). What would you recommend?
* How important is getting proper oils in the diet - never really understood what they are doing and therefore haven't really been motivated to ensure they get in there.

IF YOU ARE USING PROTEIN FACTORY,I USE ACESULFAME FOR SWEETENER AND VANILLA FLAVOR.YOU MIGHT TRY ADDING SUGAR FREE PUDDING BUT I THINK THAT MIGHT HAVE CARBS.OR MAYBE CRYSTAL LITE OR SOMETHING,BUT I DON'T THINK ASPARTAME IS HEALTHY.POUR SOME SUGARTWIN?

AIM FOR ZERO.THEN IF YOU WANT A SALAD OR SOMETHING,NO PROB.THIS IS MORE FOR PSYCOLOGICAL REASONS THAN NUTRITIONAL.

EITHER ONE OF THOSE IS GOOD.USE THE SAME INTERVALS IF HE DOES SPRINTS.HE WILL GET RESULTS EVEN IF HE DOES THE DIET WITHOUT "CARDIO",JUST NOT AS FAST.

THEY ARE CALLED ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS FOR A REASON.THEY ARE IMPORTANT FOR A LOT OF REASONS,NOT THE LEAST OF WHICH IS FAT METABOLISM.
