Geez this sucked!!!!!!

I went to bench yesterday, I was tired but not exhausted. Anyways, for my third set at 315 it went through my chest, I mean I struggled with 1 rep. I mean I usually twelve rep this, and go on up in weight. Just two weeks ago I hit 405 on my 8th set for one rep. I attempted a second time but had the same outcome. I don't know what did it but I just gathered up my shit and left. Adding salt to the injury, this guy tells me as I'm walking out, "I've never seen you bench that bad."

No biggie bro. EVERYONE has a day they wish they had back. In fact, I've had several. Next week will be much, much better.

Bro, everyone has an off day....don't let it get to you. Next time, you'll get it and then some. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY....if you are not feeling well or sick, stay your ass out of the gym...you are only going to hurt yourself.

Hey Bud, no worries...putting up 405 is a sweet acomplishment!! You wont be able to hit it everyday. I know the feeling somedays you just dont feel 100%...yesterday was that day for me. I went out for my 3 mile jog and could not get through the first 1/2 mile...struggled big time. Tomorrow will better though, I am going to get enough sleep and drink enough water etc...

All that to say dont worry you will nail it again soon, be sure to be gearing up mentally for your next visit to the gym as well, that is a BIG part of it.

Hey Unforgiven...I had a few days like that. Looking back on them earlier this week it was due to my painting the living room....even though I rested after before hitting the gym, my arms were donners.

OK, now with that said, don't sweat it bro. I've been humbled like that before and you're right it does suck. Its also ONE workout. Everyone has an off day, or 2, or seven whatever. Just put it in your head that next week you will show that bench what you are made of....
