Don't wear running shoes

You should have two pairs of shoes for the gym. Have a pair that you only wear on days you do legs (the old ones). I don't do cardio but I know many of you do so here's why. If you wear your running shoes on leg days, when you do squats, leg presses, etc you compress the soles of the shoes. Transfering a couple hundred pounds extra into the shoes will kill the support that is built into them. When you run/do cardio you obviously want that support in your shoes/feet. This is one of those common sense things that you miss sometimes.
