this may not seem like training, but more of a health issue...but i figured since hte other guy posted his injury question


so im peeing, and i get an intense feeling at the base of my penis (like very base, like internal, toward the end like im about to piss out a cantelope-there was no burning or anything, just an intense almost semi pleasurable but intense uncomfortable feeling)

could that be a hernia? wtf would it be,... i was thinking prostate cancer, but thats just mee worrying alot

im 17, and it isnt bothering me anymore.

it was a one time thing, i was holding in my pee for a long time, and i had to go bad, so when i finally released i felt that sensation i described, but i havnt felt it since when i made this post.

what do yall think it could be?

You irritated the Urethra... more specifically the Membranous Urethra, which is the narrowest part and includes the External Urethral Sphincter. Don't hold your piss so long.... you will have a healthier Bladder and Prostrate when you get older.

I'm going to go against the grain here. Based upon what you said it feeled like I will say it was a kidney stone descending into the bladder from the ureter. Actually, the narrowest part of the urinary tract is at the base of the ureter just prior to entrance into the bladder. The nerve bundles there extend the entire length of the urinary tract from the exit point of the ureter to the tip of the urethra. The ureter goes from the kidneys to the bladder and the urethra goes from the bladder to the tip of the penis. The urethra is larger than the ureter for the most part but the ureter at the entrance to the bladder is extremely narrow. Even when a small stone that is very passable hits this point and descends into the bladder, the pain will shoot all the way to the base of the penis and it will feel like an extreme pressure as well as a constriction at the end of the penis in the urethra. If this is a common occurrence you may feel it more frequently during a bowel movement while urinating at the same time since there is even more constriction at the sphincter prior to entrance of urine from the ureter to the urethra.

Just my 2 cents considering this happens to me once every couple of weeks and have spent countless hours either in the ER with kidney stones or at the urologist office. These people have educated me alot on this and the symptoms. However, my biggest problem is eating too much red meat like steaks and burgers; blood creatinine levels are usually through the roof when I have blood work done.

I'm betting that the feeling is more like if you ran out into your back yard holding your penis and aimed it, you'd kill the family cat or dog with a urinary bb or pellet based on this feeling of pressure building up. You should seriously consider your diet and how much greens and milk products you ingest.

Evidence suggests that eating certain types of food increases the chances of kidney stones for people already at risk of developing calculi. Diets high in meats may increase uric acid levels in the body. If the acid cannot be completely dissolved in urine, stones may form.

Oxalate, formed from oxalic acid, combines with calcium to produce calculi. The regular consumption of rhubarb, spinach, cocoa, pepper, nuts or tea can result in excess oxalate in people who have a high level of risk. Diet does not appear to be a high risk for people with no other risk factors.

Drinking fluids may help defend against calculus formation. Dehydration and fluid loss through diarrhea have been linked to the development of kidney stones.
