Beef jerky?

Get a dehydrator and make your own.......it's good and .....it's good for you too.

I've made my own deer jerky before. I would guess that the same techinque would apply with beef.

Yeah, I've made beef jerky from ground round as well as flank steak which is from what beef jerky is made anyway I think. I've made deer jerky many times which is also excellent in a dehydrator or a low heated oven. A farmer near my parents' farm makes his own ostrich jerky and sticks which are good and no ingredients are from anything that he doesn't grow himself spice-wise. I think he uses walnut oil in the sticks. There are bound to be quite a few places out there that sell organic jerky, but if nothing else, just buy plenty of flank steak and ask the butcher to cut it up in strips for jerky.
