Beef jerky?

Is it true that beef jerky is good for you? I got some yesterday during break becuase I was told that it's good for you.

yes its a good low fat snack..has some protein in it as well..have to watch the sodium on some brands though..the best place would be if you have a jerky outlet near you

organic/natural Beef jerkey is good, the crap they sell at the store with "hydrogenated corn syrup" and "corn sugar" as well as other crap is bad for you. You can find plenty of organic/natural Beef jerkey just look around - once you do you'll be amazed at the flavor difference .

I like to put deer meat on the dehydrator. Man, it makes great jerky!!!

me too

I have made my own before, but I have gotten away from eating too much jerky. try making you own. you will save lots of moolah and you can change the flavour to fit you best.

no store bought jerk here-gotta do it hands on- me likey da au natural method...no one can make or break enuf jerky

jerky is totally on the food pyramid.....fruit of the gods...or even for an average puss like me ....it most likely contained any or all of the food groups at one tyme..uh er.. in some form or another....um..yeah
