Working through the pump ?

What's the deal with this ? I was doing back the other day and this happend. In the middle of my workout i was jacked. I had lat-spread syndrome. I continued to workout and at the end of my workout my back was not as pumped. Can this be explained ? Is this bad ? Did I miss my "perfect time" to stop doing sets ?

To me it appears that. If one set gets u pumped well and next doesn´t feel at all , then it´s time to quit that bpart. I´ve had that sensation many times and it won´t happen during the first sets. I feel it´s a sign to move on something else or halt the workout .

was your nutrient intake different than usual? that sometimes can cause a pump moreso than normal.

i would not say you missed your window or opportunity. i can get a pump doing warm up sets but i have far from traumatized the muscle, just filled it with blood.
