how do you guys go about fixin your meals

so you prepare them one meal at a time , one day at a time or a week at a time

right now I have an entire bag of chicken breasts in the crock, they will be gone by monday night

Yesterday....3 huge chicken breasts fried up in a pan with not fat added.

2 huge sweet potatos diced in microwavea and cooked.

Huge bowls of veggies in microwave.

I'm all set for 3-4 meals.

Last weeek. cut up red and green peppers, celery, onion, mushrooms, zuccinni. Put them in baggies in the fridge.

Lunch...omlet with peppers, zuccini, mushrooms, onion and chicket cooked up day before.

Supper...stir fry all vegges and add bean sprouts and no fat chicken broth and soy sauce...

Salads...chicken, spinich and veggies.

raw veggies dipped into cottage cheese spread. Mix cheese, dill and garlic till smooth.,...yummy.

yeah I just got done eating my bedtime meal.. but all I did was open the container of fat free cottage cheese. then I ate the entire thing

I suggest making food once a week and vacuum packing it.

Chicken breasts, turkey burgers/meatloafs, beef burgers, brown rice, broccoli...cook a lot at one time (usually 5-7 days worth) and store it in the fridge in plastic zippies or plastic containers.

Big package of mixed greens for salads (already clean so it saves prep time).

Protein pancakes made in large quantities, then frozen in zippie bags for easy to-go breakfasts/snacks.

Soups (usually veggie and ground turkey breast) made in a huge pot yielding nearly 2 gallons stored in a huge tupperware in the fridge for quick meals (I love it for breakfast).

A package of lentils made and kept in the fridge like rice to add to the soup or salad for carbs and a little more protein.

I keep plastic utensills and bottled water at work so packing lunch usually just means grabbing something from the fridge at home and putting it in a plastic container. If I know I'm gonna be working a lot I'll just bring enough food to work for a few lunches so I don't have to pack every morning.

Frozen bannanas for hubby's morning shake (I let them get slightly over-ripe on the counter then peel them and put them in zippie bags in the freezer, the frozen bannana helps thicken the shake without using a lot of ice) and I usually buy 2 doz. or so at a time.

We also get those individual packets of Starkist tuna for convenient to-go food in large quantitles (two display boxes...guess that's about 20), just grab a plastic fork and you can eat it right out of the bag.

Quart size containers of egg beaters and a 1 1/2 doz. carton of eggs.

I've found the best way for us to stay on diet is to buy and cook things in large quantities. If your fridge is cold enough, food will not spoil in a week. We have a chest freezer in the garage to stock up on things...great for when you catch a sale.

large quanities, i'm ready for next week already. I have tuna galore, i buy tuna by the case, and salmon i must have 6kg worth in my freezer, chicken breast, just waiting for me in my fridge as i type this.
