Falling off the diet wagon

How hard is it for you to eat "perfect" when dieting? I do so well for about 3 weeks, then all of a sudden, I'm eating a bowl of cocoa puffs at 2 in the morning.

The hardest part, is I feel like I just wasted the last three weeks and I stray even moroe (for that day). Tumbling weed if you will.

Anyone else cheat too much while dieting or cutting?

Dude, my wife goes on a diet. I swear she has one day a week where she will be strict and 6 cheat days.

You aren't ruining anything if you have a bad meal or snack. It takes a day or so (I've heard as many as three) before fat is stored. You can use that as extra motivation to kick your cardio up a bit the next day.

It does take 2 or 3 days to begin storing fat again, and casuing you body to change it's metabolism.

If you cheat for a meal, or even a day, - and you can get back to your routine the next day - you'll be juist fine.

I guess it's more of a mind fuck on my part. It's like, I can do everything else right with the training, but I sometimes fail to do something that's suppose to be "simple" like - eating right.

for myself, once i get things moving it has the snowball effect. It just keeps on getting easier

Make it easy on yourself and have clean food in the house. I am a real hard ass at the grocery that way I can relax at home. If you have cabnets full of clean food, that is what you will eat.

If I had cocoa puffs in the house, I would eat cocoa puffs. I mean, that is some good food!!
