I'm just getting over sinus surgery and haven't worked out in about 4 weeks....while I've been laying around I've been eating like a pig...man anything and everything..especially when they took the packing out and I could taste again...anyway..I've gained almost 20 pounds..doesn't help that I'm still on Prednisone....Just need someone to kick my butt and get my motivation up..because I'm not into it...whaaaa.:cry

I need some motivation...I've just been released by the Dr to do any exercise last week...and I still haven't tried...I did do some cardio last night though...not much but enough to get it started back..

i have had 4 operations. this last one i lost everything. i could not work out for over a year. its hard to get motivated again when you know that you have so far to go, to get back to where you were.

you will get there....just have to force yourself for the first week to two until you get back into the swing of things.

now go out there and do it!!

Thanks for the pick me up...Im getting back...got up at 5:30 this morning and started cardio...the hard thing is work and coaching little league, family responsibilities...just finding time...

I had sinus surgery years ago...I sympathise with you for that.

Prednisone can really screw ya up for a while. My mom just got off it and she lost 4 lbs. the first week she got her diet back on track. Don't let the temporary weight gain fuck with your head too much. Once your diet is clean and you get your body moving again you'll start to see results.

The hardest part about doin cardio is starting it.. no wait... trying is the start of all failures...... fuck that aint it:doh ....
