Non-Thermogenic Diet Aide

I've started taking blood pressure medicine...bound to happen..runs in the family...and I obvioulsy can't do an ECA stack or any of the other diet aides...so is there anything that won't affect my BP that I could take as a diet aide?? Besides stop eating junk

you mean non stimulant agent, thermogenesis is the production of heat by the body. HCA hydroxy citric acid is a good one, some say still debatable as a thermogenic product minus the simulant side effects associated with ephedrine but believe it has a great benefit as an apetite supressant.

so what exactly are you looking for a dietary supplement to aid fatloss? if so there are many options that aid in fat loss.

Sorry for the brain fart...I meant stimulant and yes looking for aid in fat loss and something for a kick, but I doubt I can get that without caffeine or ephedra.

truthfully i havent found anything yet that has the same kick as Ephedrine or caffiene, there are alternatives but they still have a stimulant effect.

now for diet aids for fat loss, you dont have to look to far. i'm not a really big supplement fan, i rely heavily on food. if you havent incorporated flax seed oil or fish oil in your diet do so. this is something i suggest to clients i train, no need for an arsenal of pills and bottle. nice and simple EFA's. i'd rather analyze the diet and make modifications then look to diet aids.

You're better off not taking any weight loss aids at all. Even yohimbine might cause a problem.

Is flax/fish oil that effective for fat loss? How much should one take daily?

That's what I thought but it's always helpful to ask others....I take flax seed and fish oil daily...just trying to get a little more kick out of my fat loss..the older you get the harder it gets...
