Default cardio while cutting

Is 2 sessions of cardio/day (6 days/week) too much while cutting???

If you're focused on about 60-65% intensity I would say you're doing ok.

I might recommend that you switch one of the cardio times into a HIIT session for 20-25 mins. I've been reading some good stuff on the body's response to having both kinds of cardio. It will also increase you're cardiovascular strength as well.

Max Heart Rate is what i believe Yo Daddy is referring to.
how long have you been at two sessions of cardio? did you build up to two sessions or you just starting off the bat just like that?

I've been doing the morning cardio for months - 3xweek for 40min
Now I am looking to drop the morning to 30min and add the 30min evening cardio.

I would like to do this 6 days a week - is that too much?

train smart before you train hard. i would recommend bumping another 40 mintue session up to 4x a week then to 5.

I don't think it's too much.

You can get a ballpark idea of what you max heart rate is by subtracting your age from 220. Then you can multiply that number by .65 and that will give you 65% of your max heart rate.
