Meal replacement bars added for extra cals.

i kno eating solid calories like steak are more beneficial than say, weight gainer. but say to add more calories to bulk up could i add a big 100 meal replacement bar to my { 2 cans tuna, spinach, sweet potato } for more total calories at the end of the day..

i noticed that a big 100 is 430 calories for a bar and i got all excited when its only a $1. hard to find that many calories for that cheap.. beats steak. just wondering if it was just as good to bulk up with.

just as good as weight gainer if not better cause it will digest slower and start your metabolism..

I agree with omerta, if you are looking to add calories in such a fashion then go for it. I do however prefer a home-made concotion of a weight gainer. I tend to have a fast metabolism and like to mix ON 100% whey with peanut butter oatmeal and a tsp of olive oil. Surprissingly it tastes great and adds a significant amount of calories ... 600 - 900 depending upon amounts used.

yeah that sounds pretty good. i love peanut butter.. i buy this peanut butter online that's made up of flax seed oil.. and its still soooo good. i eat it with whole wheat pancakes every morning
