Lightbulb finally my diet

ok after reading several threads and stuff on the net i came up with a diet i think best suits for me, im 22 yearls old, 5"11, 154 lbs aprox., almost a year of constant workout, never done roids... my goal with this diet is to gain a few pounds of lean mass, get some definition and get rid of the water around my belly and lats, im going to run this diet for 4 weeks

8:00 Meal 1
Protein Shake: Protein, linseed, toasted wheat germ, strawberrys or kiwi.

11:00 Meal 2
Panela cheese (200g), two slices of integral bread, two green apples or half cantaloup, carrot juice or jamaica water with no sugar.

12:30
Bio Pack Sumplement

13:00
Workout

15:00 Meal 3
Salad (lettuce, tomato, spinach, celery, cucumber)
Fish or chicken breast
1 cup of rice

19:00 Meal 4
Protein Shake (the same as the first)

20:30
Bio Pack Suplement

21:00
Go swimming for an hour

22:20 Meal 5
Turkey, wheat germ, spinach, celery ice tea or ginseng tea.

also im going to take L-Carnitine (3 scoops half an hour before workingout)
and also somo aminoacid tabs (3 tabs a day)

my workout:
Mon: Chest/Back and 40 minutes of cardio
Tue: Bic/Tric
Wed: Shoulders/Traps
Thu: Legs
Fri: 40 minutes of cardio

What do you think about this diet/workout???

yep ive been going to swim for almost a month, its really a very relaxing and refreshing excercise, how good is it when lifting weights? i guess it gets your muscles well defined... doesnt it?

I'd break calfs and forearms out and do them Friday before your cardio.

IMO, you should add more protein by eating meat, and cut your swimming a little if you want to gain muscle. At 5'11" and 154, you are already pretty lean and by adding real food protein and cutting back on the swimming, you will start adding muscle easier.

i used to run cross country competitively for a division 1 school . I would run 10-12 miles a day. I got injured one year during the peak of my condition and so i swam. IT WAS THE HARDEST WORKOUT I EVER DID!

As for me when I lift hard such as heavy chest back or shoulders days i wouldn't swim because when i swam and lifted i started injuring my joints ex. shoulder, elbow etc. but if your body can take push it to the limit! GL!

I have the opposite, when my shoulders start acting up swimming seems to strengthen them up quickly.
