Ephedrine + Smoking!!!!

As you may or may not know ephedrine HCL seem's to open up the body's airway's {lungs} hence in-toxicating the body's blood with more oxygen. So if you smoke am i right in saying it will in-toxicate the body's blood with all the shit such as nicotine and other chemical's that go along with ciggerate's into the body more SO and rapidly, or am i right in saying you can smoke MORE and the lung's and body will recoperaite easier or faster or both???? I mean think about it? Your in the gym on ephedrine lifting more weight or with an extened workout and your body seem's to recoperaite faster all because of the damage that is been done to it, all because whilst on the drug the body seem's it can take more punishment+ rightly so. SO WAT THE F**K?

I wouldn't risk it, because you don't know for sure wether or not it's helping cause extra damage by heightening the cigarette related toxin effects. Since you said any opinion is welcome, I also think you need to slow down while typing and try to be a bit more articulate. It helps when you're in need of responses on message forums.

1 st off i think ephedrine is awesome if you have no heart problems and are trying to cut. Secondly, no fitness enthusiast should even be thinking about smoking let alone combining it with a powerful substance like ephedrine. Obviously if you are into keeping your body in premier shape cutting out smoking should be an no brainer. GL with every bro!

Maybe you can do cardio and smoke at the same time to test out these hypotheses.

The nicotine molecule is molecualrly similar in structure to that of the opiate molecule (the stuff heroin is made from) and therefore will fit into the nerve receptors in your brain the same way causing just as intense of an addiction if not moreso, than that of an opiate.

So, to just quit smoking is not something many people can do "cold turkey".
While you will not die from detoxing and going into withdrawal they way an opiate addict might, there are still real physical, emotional and mental changes/symptoms that cigarette smokers/or those who chew tobacco will suffer when trying to quit. The dude I am married to can't go over an hour without his chew (insert barf face here).

If you are going to successfully quit you need to do so with a weening process. The same thing that the patch does or the gum... the same they do for opiate addicts. Everyday you lower your use until you are at the minimal amount then cut it out all together. The next week or so after that last use will be hell. And to be successful at quitting anything addictive one needs support from family and to be aware of triggers to avoid them.

I know you said nothing about wanting to quit. But, I am sure it crosses your mind. I have known many addicts of many different substances in my life and most of them have told me how they hate it... that it is like a ball and chain.... having to stop what they are doing to go get enough of what they need to sustain their current mood or feeling.

And, I know that you might think I am extreme for equating tobacco (a legal substance) with opiates (hard-core medical/street drugs). But, you can die from both, even if cancer is a lot slower it is hella more painful than an OD. They both tend to influence behaivors. They both cost way too much money (a pack a day is like $1500/year). They both make you stinky and have bad teeth. They both could possibly drive-off the opposite sex. I would never knowingly date/marry a smoker/tobacco user - I got punked with a lie by the dude I married... he hid that shit from me and since things have gone down hill between us he has decided that chewing damn near 24-7 and leaving spit cups around the house is cool.
