Glucose-post workout?

So i'm NOTgonna do slin-too scary. Not for me .So any way i got this idea that if i spike my bloodsugar, it might spike my insulin. So after doing my legs today, i went to the store , got my usual myoplex, then got glucoburst and ensure. so i do the glucoburst (15 grams glucose), then chuged an ensure(29g sucrose).............Felt ILL......chill.........5min.....ok....now chug the myoplex.... okeedokeeee! So , is this better than the myoplex alone? or did i waste my money? 1.3lbs chuckeye in 30 mins comming soon.

I have about 60-80g Glucose in my shake. Have it with your myoplex. see if that makes any difference for ya.
