There is absolutely NO REASON to ingest something that will only hurt you, and there is NOTHING fattening about having just a few grams of sugar per day. ( and I really do mean just a few)
Well, I guess to each his own, but it's definately something to consider. Theres my 2 cents.
Although I agree with protein ingested from food is superior to protein powder due to the macronutrients supplied in food. I must heavily disagree with the statements about artificial sweeteners! Scientific research shows that you would have to eat about a 5 lb tub of it a day to really cause more harm than antyhing else. My point is that you dont have to look far an agent to cause cancer, so they should be used in moderation but it is okay to use. If you buy good quality protein then you are fine, i would prefer one without artifical sweeteners but like I said they would not cause much harm. But really a protein is protein if it is of good quality just like a calorie is a calorie they are not all created equal but they are pretty much the same.

Just remember the body can only absorb so much protein within the day. More protein does not equate to more muscle. For all the protein the body can not absorb, its excreted out of the body through sweat, urine and doo doo. 1.7 grams per kilogram of body weight is the sportsnutrition recommendation for resistance trained natural atheletes anymore and ur just waisting ur money
