Ok need diet help.

I am going simple on supplements (Fish oils, ZMA, Trib, protein shakes) but My diet sucks ass. (Note: see the fact my test level is at 311 and I am up to a 46" gut )

So, gain some muscle, get strong, drop the BF is the goal. Problem is I really don't like vegtables or fruit. Yeah I know, tough shit...learn to like them .

That said, to do this, how many Grams of Protein should I get per day and how many carbs? I am at 223 @ about 32% BG now. Would like to get down about 195-200 @ 12% BF.

Advice would be appreciated.

Are you saying you have 46" stomach? How tall are you? What do you typically eat everyday?

Umm crap. I just gotta shore this damn diet up. I am 5'9" and yes the unblilicus is about 46" right now

You really will have to get the disclipline to do it...........none of us wake up and are happy that we don't get to eat ice cream......it takes discipline and consistency over a long period of time................read up, I have found that if you can get through the first couple of weeks, it becomes much easier to stay dedicated..........you have to push.

the best as always! But a couple quick questions. do I do 1.5g protein of current weight or where I want to be? I am 223 and have been my best at about 187 (plus I can lift in the 85k class at that weight).

Carbs, I was thinking .75G per lbs of BW I want to be and all being good carbs. I say this because my metabolism is low and I know that I have always done well on lower carbs. But my carbs will be from those you listed minus bread at all.

Thoughts?

Oh and I have ordered the fish Oils needed and will start those as soon as they come in.

Work on your current bodyweight and then adjust as you grow for your protein intake.

That is a low amount for carbs and as I said if your taking in the right carbs and at the correct times you really do need carbs. They will be your energy source and not your muscles. If you do not have an adequate intake of carbs your body will be forced to turn to protein (especially so if your keeping fats low also) as an energy source. What this means ultimately is that your going to breaking down muscle. Unless your already at a really high bodyfat percentage I strongly argue in favor of having a good intake of carbs.

Um Bud, 5'9" 46" gut. That has me at about 32% BF lol.
