Hi i have been going through some of your threads and spent a long time getting deprested everybody wants to put mass on well i need to take mass off i am 39, 6ft tall and weigh 280lb i have tried a lot of diets but i have losed some weight and then it stops i was 295lb so i have lost 15lb can anybody recommend a diet i have tried not eating after 8pm i have cut my intake by half.
breakfast was a big bowl of cereal with milk now 3 bananas lunch chicken and chips with a litre of fruit juice now a 500g tin of soup (99% fat free) tea eat out or couple of pies then a pasta meal chocolates and a packet of biscuits with a hot chocolate drink. now mash potatoes or even just boiled with boiled vegies with lamb or chicken a hot drink (caro) if anybody knows what that is and 6 biscuits. eating less or "crash dieting" wont help you lose the amount of weight you want to lose, and its not healthy, belive it or not you need to eat more, but restructure your eating into several meals, and eat the right ratio of protine/carbs/fats for your body type, try watching this video collection and then find out what of the 3 body types you are, youll slowly learn to listen to your body and only take in what it needs.
from personal experiance ill tell you that the first 2 or 3 weeks of eating less sugars/carbs/fats can be hard, just hang in there and your body will adapt, its not easy, but the rewards are worth the commitment. People are helping bro..............It's up to you to read and get smart about this because none of us can give you what you need, determination and dedication. You have to make a conscious choice to get this under control. You can't honestly think that eating chips is alright can you ? Come on !!
Read the diet pages here and start by comitting to a plan......he's right too..........after a couple fo weeks of hell, it's a lifestyle then and it only takes an act of discipline to get started. ~PM

WOW. I had to read the thread three times to see what you were saying. You made some good choices for cutting stuff out of your diet. You made bad choices for the replacements. I mean 6 biscuits! Stay off the bread! If you have to have bread the enriched white products are the worst! Eat ONE (or two if its a sandwich) piece of rye or whole grain (non-bleached enriched) bread. And the soup-I mean 99% fat free is great but how many cals. and does it supply any protein? You can have fruit but three pieces in the morning is enough to spike your insulin then leave it flat-my head is spinning thinking about it. Try oatmeal with hand full of fruit or one banana and a scoop of protein. PORTION size is still key to meet your goals. Snack on low calorie high protein atleast between meals-TRY water its great-fruit juice is a desert and you can work it in later when you get to your gaols and can use it responsibly. Simple carbs rot your brain! lol Seriously, you got any cardio worked in? What is up with the chips anyway, I mean you can't get them to hold enough protein, so why does anyone eat them?

Hi guys would this be a good diet to help me lose weight and yes i have taken it from another thread
Breakfast; 45g Bran, 100ml of milk, 3 whole boiled eggs and a hand full of currents. 130g sweet jacket potato, tin of tuna, 2 boiled eggs/ jacket potato with a 400gm tin of tuna and kidney beans. Evening meal; Chicken breast, large jacket potato, veg/ Vegies with fish. Am i missing anything |

Yeah you are still only eating three times a day. Spread it out over 6 if possible. Repost when you sort it out and someone will help you with the contents.

im not sure you should be eating potatos that late in the day, carbs are fuel right? do you need fuel for bed? or to watch tv? or go for an evening walk even?, most likely not. if your still hungry try some more fiber befor bed (green veggies).
