Looking to get protein. what type do u use?

i agree with the egg egg whites. I put them in all of my shakes. at least 3. The last I bulked I put 6-8 eggs with 1 cup of oatmeal with 1 big spoon of peanutbutter. I bulked but I also put on a little belly.

Just ordered 5 pounds of isolate from them to give it a test run. Im new to all this and have only used cheap proteins in the past from walmart and such, so im excited to have a decent product on the way.

I use ISOPURE or Whey - But my fav is Syntha 6 by BSN

My experience with casein protien is all of them are lumpy, or get lumpy due to the thickening process starting immediately, which is why it has a conversion breakdown time of 6 to 7 hours in your body as oppossed to isolate whey which breaks down in 45 minutes to an hour. I have yet to find a good tasting, non thickening one, so if there is one....share the knowledge!

I get a natural, no filler or sweetener ISOLATE from Bulkfoods.com. The 5lb bag is $38+/-, which is the cheapest I have found for unflavoured isolate. It mixes well and I mix all my stuff in magic bullet, best blender everrrrrr..........

If you want to mix up your shakes without adding carbs, this is what I do

Isolate powder, however much you want
Tsp of either cocoa, or vanilla extract
Tbsp of Xylitol-best natural sweetener out there, no known side effects over 100+ years of research
Couple ice cubes
Water

Mix it and it tastes awesome.

I use to use egg white powder, but it is a ***** to mix and tastes like garbage. Plus it gave wicked gas!
