Chicken Pattie For bulk?

I have a hard time gaining and i was curious if chicken patties would be an OK alternative to get my cal intake up.

The biggest problem I see is the amount of sodium in there. Your daily recommended sodium intake is around 2000-2400mg per day. Processed foods use sodium as a preservative. Too much sodium will cause water retention. You might could find a brand with less sodium.

Another thing is the protein value is low considering what you're eating. This is probably due to fillers used in it that have no or little value. A 4oz baked chicken breast has about 25g of protein.

Yeah bud stay away from the processed foods if all possible. If you cant avoid them, just remove all salt etc form the rest of your diet to help compensate a little. I would do your best to get grilled breasts if you can. Good luck
