Hi,
At the moment I believe I eat quite well, excluding the mention of fruits/vegetables etc, I eat chicken and carbs before and after the gym (creatine during), but I know it's not enough for the gains I want. I'm basically looking for help in creating the perfect diet. At the moment I go to the gym 3 times a week and don't train basketball wise due to an injury. In a month or so that will change but for now, I can eat whatever and whenever and it wont effect my skill training. I've read the beginners guide to nutrition. I have decided to cut out fat (as I'm not that lean at the moment), so have added the fat calories to carbs and protein whenever meals can be judged in this way. I've worked out my daily calorie intake should be roughly 2400 (160lb x 15) 65% Carbs = 1560 35% Protein = 840 Now I'd like to go on to supplements, at the moment, I take creatine, but what else do you suggest I take e.g. Protein, glutamine etc? And also, how often and how much should I take? Also, what makes/companies should I use? If you could suggest that as well, that would be very helpful. Thanks for any help, Alex |
