Help to put on mass with diet

Hi guys this is for a friend of mine, he is 6 feet 2 and weighs 13 stone 7, been training for a couple of years his trainin program is fine but he has been tryin to put on weight and mass but his diet is all over the place ive give him a few tips but id thought id see if u guys could help in a full bulkin diet if possible, ive had a lot help from here for myself and everything ive been told on here has helped me loads, thats why im askin for help on here people who actually know what their talkin about? cheers...ste

funny you should mention this. my brother in law had the exact same problem, he's whats called a hard gainer, meaning works proper hard in the gym throughout the week but due to his metabolism being so high doesn't put on as much weight as he should do. he needs to be consuming a minimum of 1g of protein to 1pd of body weight eating 6/7 times a day. i'm guessing your friend also does alot of cardio? this needs to be limited to gain weight & pile on the muscle. after i told my brother in law this & gave him a rough diet guideline, he has been gaining weight well over the last month & feels alot better in himself because he is seeing results.
