HCG and testosterone replacement

Hello fellows,I am relatively new to the forum. Just trying to learn what I can. I have one question which I'm curious about. I started testosterone replacement about 4 months ago. I am prescribed 200 Mg. per wk. of testo cypionate for a low T count (193 total-55 yr. old male) I usually use about twice that (350 to 400 Mg) My concern is whether I should also use hcg so that my low,but normal, testosterone continues to function. Any advice is appreciated. THX, Turbo88 :confused

You don't need HCG. The best thing is to talk to your doctor before using anything with your TRT.

2x, If you are already under medical care don't go 1 up'ing the doc. Some MD's will cut you off if they find out you are double dipping on them.

If you are on TRT it will replace 100% what you need. If you ever go off TRT your body should go back to it's potential within a year (but only your age adjusted, and already known diminished capacity, not what you have NOW, but what it would have been able to make had you just got older and never done TRT). I don't think you need HCG, but That doesn't mean I wouldn't ask my MD if it would help protect your natty production in case you ever have to go off TRT.

Def go see your doc. HCG would really only be for cosmetic purposes for you since you're taking in synthetic test. But, if you explain that your testicle size is important to you for personal reasons then he may prescribe HCG for you.
