I think this might be a bigger problem then we think. I think a good way to go about this would be to at least change your diet into:
5 days: 33%protein/33%carbs/34%fat and 1 day refeed. During the refeed go for 60%carbs/30%protein/10%fat wx12, try to stick w/ low-gi carbs. I don't think the CKD is doing it for you, you might want to try going for the Isocaloric diet I pointed out above, just my take on it.

honeslty I don't know how well ckd works for the other females in here but for me it wasn't the right diet.i preferred the carb cycling and had better results

I agree with Mr. X - it sounds like you need a change in your macronutrient breakdowns to get fat loss moving again. You might also want to look at Mr. X's cyclical bulking diet, and apply that methodology to cutting. I like to keep my body guessing by fluctuating my kcals and macronutrients, and a cyclical carb diet accomplishes that nicely.

Luckily, you still have plenty of avenues to explore, so just don't give up!

Again Rogue.. our mindset is similar.. a carb rotation diet works wonders for me too, however CKD and carb rotation are pretty much the same thing.. Cyclical ketogenic diet has carb rotations; usually 5 down with 1-2 up... Lyle McDonald was the father of this concept and dieting style..

When i carb rotate i usually do it every 3rd day (wed and sat) It keeps my muscles full and my strength up! I don't hit "ketosis" they way some hardcore peeps do, but my weight moves and body is happy! So it really is finding what truly works for you!

I agree here...a 3/1 split might do it for lols. 3 day low-carb, 1 day refeed. It's a simple version of carb-cycling, but works well for a lot of women I know.

hmmm ckd didn't do much for me either (female).
This 3/1 day thing looks good. On those three days, how low are your carbs and what type of carbs. Same Q for that 1 day.

Im hesitant to start w so many carbs as my body is not use to it at all. for a few weeks i tried carbs post w/out and started to gain weight - so stopped that.

i have tried a diet where you eat 3meals carb/pro last 3 meals pro/fat.
that worked quite well.. but its impossible to eat out or be in social eating situations.

another diet that is good is the "donna aston" diet - 50%pro, 25% fat, 25% carbs. carbs include; oats, yoghurt, fruit, pumpkin and carrots. its healthy, and there are no refeeds. donna aston is a body builder and has won several comps..so I guess she knows what shes talking about.
I may just try that, as the carb content is still low.

Donna Aston is another NABBA Figure competitor (ex-competitor). Just remember, what works for her won't necessarily work for everyone. It doesn't hurt to try her diet - 50/20/20 isn't a bad macronutrient breakdown. It seems odd she'd be so restrictive on carb selection though. I personally primarily use oats for my complex carb source, but that's just a personal preference, not a "magic" carb source that will make it easier for me to lose fat.

JJ i could not have said it better!!! Unfortunetly what works for one may or may not work for another.. diets are very personal and need to be tailored to specific needs! however there are basics that could work for most and can be adhered to...

I say a more frequent re-feed day because it WORKS well for ME! plus it is easier on my body and sanity lol.. again.. this works for me and my clients as i have tried it several times and seem to always get results! and in a way, a refeed is like a shock!! Shock prevents plateaus..

My carbs on the 3 down are oatmeal in the morning and the rest are from shakes and that is it.. under 50g a day. I eat about every 3 hours. I eat NO fruit at all!! My idea about dieting is keeping it simple!! I don't want to have to think too much or make it too complex... The basics are tried and true and work.. they work for MOST bbers...

BASICS include chicken, tuna, steak, egg whites (until 4 weeks out of a show, then IMO not the best source of protein), fiberous greens.. romaine, broccoli, etc... i also will use oatmeal and little red potatos for my carb source...

my carb ups LMAO.. you don't even want to know LOL.. normal dieting i use them as a full out cheat day hahahah.. but come pre-contest i use about 300g at the most of complex carbs... still NO fruit or simple sugars.. and EVERY meal has protein.. there are NO meals without protein!!!


Hope that helps a bit... again, the basics work for most people which is why i stick to them and swear by them..

the refeed is individual to carb sensitivity.. some can use more, some need to use less... it is trial and error and finding what works for your body!

On a side note.. there are other variables NOT mentioned.. ie: salt manipulation, water intake, supplements.. etc.. but these variables also play a role in dieting...

is the 3 down refer to the 1st 3 days hi-carbs (50g), and then 2nd 3 days lo-carbs (20g), then carb up?
what carbs do you have in your shakes?
