Creaky Shoulders

I wonder how come my shoulder joints are so creaky these days. It feels like I need some WD-40. There's no arthritis in my ancestry, but this really feels like bone rubbing bone.
Aside from glucosamine and MSM, any suggestions? It doesn't hurt--but it concerns me.

You might want to consider seeing a licensed massage therapist or physical therapist, that can work with you in ROM to increase your synovial fluid. Plus, by the look of your physique your diligent in the gym and a relaxing deep tissue massage can do wonders for your muscles, tendons, and joints. I might be a little biased, I'm a NCLMT, but still it's worth your while to find a practitioner in your area. I'm telling you, Tarzana, a little precautionary steps now will pay off ten-fold in the future and there's nothing wrong with treating yourself once in a while. My $.02. Oh geez...babybull you handsome wonderful hunk...I need a good massage. Not so easy to find. "MT's" are a dime a dozen out here in CA, and most of them are totally clueless. You are obviously VERY well qualified, with a national license, but that isn't the norm out here.

deca and gh help the joints.. but with your medical history, i would never recommend either unless you consult your doc..

GOD bless ya girl!!! Rock on!! sweetie.. other than a super handsome man rubbing those achy shoulders of yours everyday ahahaha.. the only other thing i can recommend is what you are already doing and that is the G&C..

i know that shiatzu massage therapists use Arnica oil which is a natural healing/numbing oil which is supposed to help with injury repair and healing.. Hey.. never hurts right!!
Also, camphor is supposed to aid in soreness which may work for joints..

have you tried prednisone?? that is specifically targeted for arthritis..


also, on a side note transdermal fina seems to aid with joint pain.. BUT that is taking a walk on the dark side and can be super androgenic if too much is used... so not sure if that is a bridge you want to cross ya know... helped my knees though..

My personal experience... gh is the only thing that truly helped my rotator..

I'm a big fan of ART (active release technique). I pretty much go weekly for preventitive maintenance, but when I first started it was to help my shoulder tendinitus. He cleared it up nicely, even though the specialist I went to told me to just quit lifting.

My ART guy is a chiro who specializes in sports rehab; he's a level three practitioner (licensed to teach as well as practice) and mainly works with athletes. He's basically made my body feel about 10 years younger than it is.

For more info on the technique, go to www. activerelease.com - you can also search for ART people in your area. If you have insurance that covers chiropractic care, it will cover ART as well.

I checked that website JJ and see that there's an ART practitioner just 5 miles from my house. Not sure if insurance would cover it, but will look into it. I have to admit I'm pretty skeptical about chiropractic...but oh well. I can get over it.
