hmmmm, have you gotten your blood tests recently - cholesterol/thyroid/hormones etc...?

yeah - im just totally screwedup internally. no period. no estogren. cysts on ovaries....no weight loss. but ive had blood tests and nothing unusal has come up.
very hard to keep on keeping on with no results

this is a bit unusual but it can be worked around - how long have you been on your current diet? I think you mentioned it was over 8 wks

ye well since seeing the endocronologist (22nd feb) she told me to eat more carbs and cut down to 4days training a week. so i guess the change has been since then...just trying to workout the right amount of ratios etc.

i would love to know some "answers" cos at the moment i feel like the chubby girl at the gym (women at my gym look unbelievable!)

Don't compare yourself to others; compare yourself to yourself. Your body is it's own individual entity; focus on becoming the best you can be and forget about what others look like. Who knows what they've done to get to their current physiques; you may be admiring a woman with an eating disorder, for all you know.

You may also look at changing your training approach just to introduce a new variable. Diet is important, but you can also use training to shake things up.

ye ive changed training too. 3-4 weighttraining days a week, dropped reps and increased weights. 20mins cardio post w/out.
ive stopped cardio ftitm, but wondering if i should pickthat up again since im not getting results

have you tried high-intensity cardio - sprints?

those might help out a lot

im happy to try anything! some people say drop cardio ... so im happy to try other things.
when should i do it? after weights or on non-training days (ftitm?) how long should the sprints go for?

I keep one sprint day in year-round, regardless of my goals. It's best to do HIIT on a non-training day; if you do it on a lifting day, I'd lift in the am and do HIIT in the pm - mainly because HIIT work just wipes me out.

I'm doing a slow cut right now to drop competitive weight classes; here's my split:

Mon - rest
Tue - lift
Wed - 30 min steady state cardio
Thur - lift
Fri - rest
Sat - lift
Sun - HIIT (sprint on track)

My sprint work for conditioning is usually an 800 m jog to warm up, 4-6 sprint drills (2x40m ea) for dynamic stretching, and 8 100m sprints. I sprint 100m, walk 100m, etc.

In the offseason I focus more on speed, so I drop my distances down to 50m sprints, or a combination of 100m and 50m sprints.

so if i were to start going the sprint/hiit training at the gym, what would the divisions be between speeds - ie 1-2mins sprint, 1-2mins walk/run or would you sprint longer/shorter? thanxxx
