Hi everyone! My name is Tina. I'm just getting into these discussion boards and appreciate all the good info I am learning. I've been reading alot but now would like some opinions, especially from some of the more experienced members and/or ladies that have been had the need to lose as much or more weight than I do. My main goal at this point is lose some serious weight. I'm 42 almost 43 and my body is really playing all these tricks on me. About 2 years ago I went through a year of several very emotionally stressful events in my life and I ended up ballooning up from 148 to 195 in 1 year time. And I am having the hardest time getting it off. I have just recently gotten extremely fed up and to the breaking point and decided to concentrate all my efforts into getting this weight back off. I know the diet and exercise is the biggest key. I have increased as well as altered my gym routine (more cardio and weight routine) and have changed my diet to a high protein, low carb diet. I believe I am one of those true Carb Addicts...not good!!! I have been considering trying some things that can help boost my losses such as a cycle of clen and t3 with ephedrine on the off weeks. I would so appreciate any and all comments and suggestions! Thanks everyone!

Have u had a blood panel done specfically for hormone levels, thyroid levels, as well as cholesterol and blood sugar?

Carbs are ok, just keep them low GI, whats that? they don't elevated insulin levels, like brown rice, sweet potatoes, oatmeal. Use bread only if it says 100% whole wheat or multi-grain but use that sparingly.

Keep a log at first to train you on how much you should be eating,

shoot for 1300-1400 calories a day, I think, you may wnat to check this and my spelling too!

Tina~ well come aboard!! Nice to have you here, i for one, am of no help. Sorry!! i am busten my butt tryen to gain weight. 30 pounds under weight. but this is a good group of people here, and i am sure you will get the help you need!!

Thanks for the input. I had a complete physical back in late August. I have not had my hormone levels specifically checked and at the moment I am unemployed trying to start my own business and have no insurance. Bummer! I do have problems with my thyroid, have taken meds for it for the past 5 years. My cholesterol is good, have never had a problem there. I have just gotten advice from a member on another board regarding my thyroid. He is working in a hospital and is 1/2 way to MD. He suggested that I get T3 and stop my current thyroid meds and just use the T3 full time. I think I might give it a try. I also heard about the www.fitday.com site and started using it yesterday. I'll make a note of your suggestions regarding the calories and the carb and impliment that in as well. Thanks again! All input is so greatly appreciated!

Ok the T3 sounds good for you, if you combined a little anavar, say 5-10mg per day, that would give you the strengh to start doing more pullups in your routine, which would give you a nice & thick upper body size.
