Having children in your 30's

Ok I am 32 I have two boys.Rob and I have been discussing more children.I will be going in for a tubal reversal within the next year.

Is mid 30's too late for child rearing?

Also I have had a hernia fixed five years ago,they used kevlar to patch it,Will it withstand a pregnancy?

I would not wait to much longer you know the risk get higher by the day after 35

I plan on doing it before I am 35.To behonest I never thought I would be doing this again.Funny how life changes

Congrats Lacy....I believe I would take up some of these matters/questions with your OB/GYN. I dont think we discussed your previous deliveries (vag or C-sections)?? My best friend is 37 and she has an 18 and 15 yr old (both boys)....she just remarried a 28 yr old man.....they are also trying to conceive. She wants a lil girl If I can be of any help ... just yell or PM me again and best wishes.

That's cool Lacy. Not sure about the kevlar patch, but I think as long as you take care of yourself, you'll be fine. Even if you are a geezer.

Yeah the 35 number is the one doctors always talk about. Before and you are fine but after is when problems start to arise. I say talk to your Dr. and see what he/she has to say.

Mck my past two were both c-section.I can handle another.My first c-section was hard but with the second I was walking around within 8 hours begging to be let out of the hospital.The hernia was from the c-sections and me not bieng careful with lifting stuff(imagine that).

I know women in their 40's who are giving birth to very healthy babies...it's all in good pre-natal care, a good OB/Gyn.....and taking care of yourself.......
