It's messed up how our symptoms change through the years. I'm taking progesterone HRT for days 14-28 and my water retention is little less than it used to be but my boobs swell up pretty bad to the point where the bottom half of my breasts are red as the skin is stretched tight and I can see cappilaries/veins in them. One of the side effects of progesterone hrt is enlarged breasts. However, it has substantially lightened my periods. Maybe instead of you having a progesterone spike, maybe the progesterone is low for a change?

I find that anti-inflamatories combined with muscle relaxants help a lot but last month I added in a few shots of vodka and that really did the trick. I'm not joking. Not to the point of getting drunk, but just enough to take the edge off.

I know I will wake up with my period now on Friday mornings, so I start the anti-inflamatories and muscle relaxants just before I go to bed on Thursday night and the pain is substantially reduced. Next time we get together, I can give you a few muscle relaxants. I use Skelaxin, it's more mild than Flexeril and doesn't knock me out so much.

well....tomorrow I'm being put on a training/diet schedule.......ugh!
someone t hinks it's from my crappy assed diet these past 2 weeks.....
but actually I have noticed the cramps are much worse...bleeding is lighter...
but cramps worse......

Good I'm glad to hear that.

I think we all get to feeling down and out.. And especially around period time and if my eatings not right either. I feel like Poo!!!

yea well...I got married I was 135 lbs and a size 10/12

I blew up to a 300 lbs..size 24/26 gross!!!!!!!!!

then was down to a no clue....14.....now I'm back up after gaining weight my bulking year in the mid west.....so went back to an 18 I think....

and the slightest gain now just makes me very uncomfortable....which is good cause I can gain very easily....i'm on the low side of normal w/ my thyroid functions but not low enough to medicate.....

I don't eat enough throughout the day (biggest problem) I'm working on that now....
