DHEA Experience

Hi Girls,

I've been considering trying DHEA to see if it makes any difference in muscles, energy levels and libido. I've read in several places that it can cause more hair growth on the body and hair loss on the head, deepening of the voice, etc, (but not the same as Androgens, no enlarged genitalia?). Has anyone tried it? What has been your experience with it? Did it make you feel any different?

I see no one has answered your post here, I know someone that is a female and was on it in fact I know two that still are. If you were to start on it run it at 25mg a day taken in the morning upon rising, I very much dought you will get any negative sides from it at that dose. I dought you will see to much in the way of muscle growth but it may make you lean up a little. Libido can probably go either way but you won't become crazy on it (if you know what I mean). One of the biggest changes I think you will notice will be an increase in your sense of well being as it seems to affect your brain in a positive way like that.

I hope all of that helps you a little, all summed up I would say give it a go, take 25mg a day to start with but you would be fine up to 50mg, run it for say 3-4 weeks and report back what you thought. Of course if you do have any negative sides just stop taking it. Oh and the voice thing I very very much dought it.

IMO i dont like supplementing DHEA
it turns into test AND estrgen
DHEA is a mother hormone
converts to androstenedione which converts to an aromatizable test
