Hi I'm new to this board - love it so far.
I'm a figure competitor and was hoping to hear from any Figure girls or FBB who use Anavar or HGH or both. I'd like to hear some first hand experiences please. Ie: Length of cycle cycle amounts effects personal opinions would you use again I've come pretty far natural and am looking at competing in November 2008 so think i have a reasonable amount of time to make the most of a cycle. Training: 1 body part per day 6 days a week + AM Cardio 2-3 days a week, plan to increase cardio as the weeks and months go on. Diet: Standard 6-7 Meals per day 1: Prot Shake (Pre-work out) 2: Carbs + Prot 3: Carbs + Prot + Veg 4: Carbs + Prot + Veg 5: Prot + Veg (Carbs if evening training) 6: Prot + Veg 6: Prot Shake Thanks |

Ok well, even though I got no replies to my question, I learnt a lot from this site and with guidance I have started my first cycle. I am dieting for a comp in 13 weeks, Cardio 6-7 morning per week minimum 30mins + training 6 days per week + Evening cardio 30 mins 5 days per week.
W1. 5mg Var & 1/2 tab clen W2. 5mg Var & 1/2 tab clen W3. 10mg Var (split 5mg am / 5mg pm) & 1 tab clen W4. 10mg Var (split 5mg am / 5mg pm) & 1 tab clen I will then go off Clen but continue with Var, perhaps increase to 15mg (maximum). Then after 2 week break will return to using Clen again. Will have the rest of my cycle written up this week. Just wanted to say so far I am enjoying the Var, I feel stronger and am lifting well past PB's. I am slightly more aggressive (while driving), but in a good way I'm finding I'm standing up for myself more. Increased sexual drive is great and better orgasms rock. I recomend if you are female and train and diet hard and want to try to make more gains and increase lean mass while dieting and cutting (losing fat) this is good thing to investigate, but be sure to explore all options and take it serious - it's nothing to mess with half heartedly! |

Ok Evie I am a male but have a little experience with a female regarding Var. Things to look out for would be a sore throut, has that happened yet? Even with Var there can be a little bloat with the female body so most people find a little Nolvadex to work wonders here and aid in the fat loss because of the decrease in estrogen. Be carefull with the nolvadex / Anavar combo because when you reduce estrogen furthur in the female body you make it more sensitive to androgens, I think it is a good idea to use a little but use the low dose of var and increase as you go only to where it is comfortable. Remember Nolvadex has a long half life about 5-7 days so it will take a while to build the levels in your blood remember that when taking Nolvadex and the Var together. That's the best advice I can give you.

Thanks for feed back, all seems to be going well for me. Getting leaner, but holding my weight, so I'm happy, but not satisfied. Will be cleaning up diet now - no sauces etc, will go very clean, and follow it, diet as posted above is pretty much 90% of the time. But that 10% is stopping me from reaching my true potential and goals while using supplements.
1: Coffee + Supplements + 5mg Var AM cardio 45mins - 1 hour 2: Carbs 20-30gm (1/3-1/2c oats) + Prot 33-35gm(shake) + 3.5gm (1 Egg white) 3: Carbs 20-30gm (1/3-1/2c oats) + Prot 33-35gm(shake) + 3.5gm (1 Egg white) 4: Carbs 25-30gm (100-150 gm Sweet Potato) + Prot 45gm (Chicken Breast) + Veg Mix 2-3 cups + 5mg Var 5: Prot 45gm (Chicken Breast) + Veg Mix 2-3 cups - Lots PM training 1 hour 6: Prot 45gm (Chicken Breast) + Veg Mix 2-3 cups - Lots or Protien pancakes (Protein 1-2 scoops and egg whites 6-12) about 60 -80gm prot - bit much but fixes sweet tooth and post training hunger. 7: Protein Shake if I have had early post work out meal or skip it Will add fibre drinks (sugar free) so to keep everything 'moving'. I also drink way too many sugar free sodas & energy drinks! But I do still drink alot of water more than enough! I have been eating extra protein if I feel the need and have been eating protien pancakes (Protein 1-2 scoops and egg whites 6-12) makes a large batch. Better than screwing up diet with extra carbs etc. Update on Var - I am still feeling good, but strength increase not continuing at the moment. Im training with a girl on 30 mgs of Var a day. She's been on 5 wks of an 8 wk cycle. Shes making really nice gains on that very simple cycle. Her period has stopped but that and slightly increased Libido are the only sides she's mentioned.

No thats all good and in line with current thinking. Thanks for the update. Your diet looks very good, I know it is hard but you could cut those carbs from meal 4 and you would get a further boos that way. I'm dieting for a comp right now. So I sympathies with the hunger thing!

I am on 10 mg total of Var per day and have chosen to split it 5 in AM (5.30) and 5 in PM (3.30pm) because I do cardio early in the morning and train after work. Will this have any affect? Does it matter? Is it wrong? |

Evie... I don't think its wrong... many people split their orals up between morning and evening doses. I tend to take my Winstrol during the course of the day..10mg on rising, then again mid morning, noon and mid afternoon, and then again in the evening.
