Question from a girlfriend

Just wondering... my man has been having problems performing a little and says its because of 'things on his mind' and I think its because of his use. He starts off good and then it stops and then if he focuses for a bit it works again. He insists its not and that he has been like this forever, but he has also been doing this stuff for like 7 years.

Can you guys be honest and tell me what the deal is...
Are we doomed forever or when he stops will it start working again?

Im asuming your talkin about steroids? If so does he do PCT (post cycle therapy). If he doesnt then prolonged use without propper PCT can shut down the natural test production and fck up your sex life big time. Another way to tell is if his balls have shrunk and stayed that way, if your on a cycle and your balls shrink, PCT will bring them right back. Just ask him if he knows what it is. Good Luck

Believe me he knows all about everything and has an answer for everything. He says he is done for a while in a few months, but assures me that doing this stuff has nothing to do with the ED. I feel like it does - big time. AND yes - they are small - very. I have heard him talk about PCT so I am assuming he will do this, but - he keeps on saying this has nothing to do with that and I know it does.

I feel like he is choosing that over our intamacy and of course - its getting me mad.

It would help us to know what he's on currently and for how long he's been on it, Kim. It's standard procedure to take steroids in what we call "cycles." You'll take them for twelve to twenty weeks or so and then take an equal amount of time off to let your body recover and your hormones re-stabilize. Is your man doing this or is he staying on them constantly?

There are definitely some steroids than can be detrimental to a man's performance in the sack. Many guys also have a tougher time finishing in bed toward the end of their cycles. If you have this info, it would be very helpful.

Well he cycles, but he started this one in December and plans to continue until the end of Summer and then take a year off... Is this too long of a time? I mean he knows his stuff - I just think he has been doing them for so long he has convinced himself other wise. Of course - I don't know what he takes because I try not to talk to him about this stuff because I don't agree, but now that it is affecting us in that aspect and he is blaming it on other things he is annoying me.

I am very understanding, but to me - why start stuff in the sack if you can't finish it especially if you know you cant and then blame it on other stuff.

Ok, ask him what he does for PCT, a lot of guys do it totally wrong and end up screwin themselves up even more. If you ask him then post it up on here we can help you out some more on that, the small balls thing is a huge indicator that hes doin sumthin wrong. Im not tryin to talk down about your boyfriend but the fact that he says he knows everything about roids tells me that he is arrogant, no-body knows everything, theres always somthin to learn. If hes not willing to listen to you and find out whats wrong then..... you need to make a choice. Theres a difference between guys who use steroids and abuse steroids. Sounds like he is abusin them, we can however tell him how to use them safely and you can have all the sex you want! Unfortunatly theres nuthin we can do unless hes willin to learn.

what i meant was if hes always has small balls, like when hes not takin steroids (off cycle) and they are always small then sumthins wrong, its normal when hes takin them for them to shrink some. It happens because the testosterone your puttin in your body makes your body say 'ok weve got enough, shut down the process of makin natural testosterone', when you do PCT it tells your body to start producin it naturally again. Without PCT you body just kinda stays the way it is and doesnt produce any more testosterone.

Yea - he told me about that (B4)... that he needs to do the PCT and that will help his balls return to normal size.

So - is it normal for him to take much longer to get hard than it does for any other man I have been with? I think my ego is getting hurt here too. Usually I have just had to touch someone on the leg or look at them in a certain way and they were hard. With him - I have to put some work into it... AND he rarely has the morning wood I love so much. I hope I can say these things on here...

I just want to know if I have a leg to stand on with my argument... like why is he cycling for so long if the avg cycle is 12-20 weeks... why 36? Why can't he perform? Will we be able to have babies?

Yeah... and will this ED be happening forever?

WOW! 36 weeks, thats way too long, maximum should be 16weeks, do you be chance know what hes takin?
As far as him takin a long time, i think it has more to do with him personally. My sex drive has never suffered due to a cycle, but ive never done a cycle that long. I think hes more concentrated on other things, which i do on a cycle, and it would be best if he takes a long break from the juice for your relationship. As far as havin kids, i have heard about men having a difficult time gettin a woman pregenant. But have never met anyone like this so cant back up the argument. The ED will keep happenin unless he stops the craziness of these huge cycles.
