Default spike insulin levels???

I've read where some people try to spike there insulin levels after a workout to promote muscle growth and then you here take r-ala to supress insulin release. Which one are you supposed to do??

when u workout..body releases coritsone, catabolic hormone..only way to stop it is insulin... so a meal high in GI...

as far as the ala, rala i always get them confused.... so won't comment...but normal ala shuttles more glucose into muscle instead of fat.... my take is you might need 150g carbs with 50 whey right after training legs... BUT you don't need that much to get a sufficient insulin spike.

Default rALA vs ALA

take the ALA post workout with carbs. You are correct... rALA will lower insulin, which you usually don't want post-workout.

Thats why rALA is best for cutting and ALA is better for bulking.

Alot of people think they are pretty much the same thing, but they react very differently.
