IGf and Insulin...does the carb rule change?

Ok guys, so i shot my first igf-1 plus slin this Sunday and it sucked. I felt hypo for about two hours, even when I consumed over 200grams of carbs. I shot 10IU of slin 15 minutes after the IGf-1. I followed the 10gr per IU of slin rule.

I know that Igf make syou insuling sensitive, so less insulin is needed.

My question is, if you use 20mcg prior to the slin, then shoot 4IU of slin, how many grams of carbs do I really need to be consuming after the slin shot?

Its going to vary by the individual. IGF will make you more insulin sensitve, but there is no way to determine a factor you need to increase your carb intake by. I'm not a fan of the 10g/iu right after the shot rule. I think the rule should be 5g/iu after the shot and 5g/iu 20-30 min after the shot. My recommendation is to take your shots and put down your 10g/iu right away and continuously sip on some gatorade for the following hour. See if that helps.

I like something like that. 100gr right after 10iu didn't work for me too.
I was forced into a similar protocol when I used slin with this carb product
called Vitargo. Absorption was so quick it didn't work long enough after my
10 iu slin (humulinR) shot. First, I took 100grams of these carbs right after
the 10iu shot and got a hypo some time later. Not nice.
Then I tried taking the same 100gr shake, but not right after, but 15 min after the shot. This time I felt the hypo coming but there were still enough
carbs to save me from the hard part. i had to consume extra carbs to stop
the irritation. Then I tried about 60 grams right after the shot and 60 grams
30 minutes or so later and I found myself feeling good.
This protocol seems to work together with that Vitargo. The dosing and timings had to be changed when I consumed slower acting carbs.
Still finding out what's best for me..
