IGF-1 LR3 and thyroid issues

I was wondering, will IGF-1 LR3 effect my thyroid hormone levels? My thyroid went hyperactive a couple of years ago and was treated with radiation. I now take synthroid every day and I'm curious if IGF-1 LR3 will throw my levels off. I wasn't using when and haven't used aas or anything in a since I was diagnosed.

My best guess here would be that it certainly could do. IGF can have a direct affect on the thyroid gland from what I understand. Adam would possibly be a good person to check with on this as he is up to date with most thyroid issues. Saying all that though I would certainly want to check with a medical professional before I even looked at doing IGF given your recent history.

IMO, this is a doctor question. My mom has had some hyperthyroid issues for the last decade. She was put on HGH (not IGF-1 but still) about a year ago and her thyroid hormone levels went through the roof.

At the very least you need to go to the doc often to have your blood work done to catch things before they get out of control.

Thats for the replies. I lost almost 30 pounds before I got things back in check. I do get my blood work done regularly, so far all is well. I was just curious and thought someone might have had a similar experience. I'll ask the doctor.

If you are getting blood work regularly you have already taken care of the most important part as you can nip any problems in the bud.
