IGF-1 for damaged connective and muscle tissue

Anyone ever get ANY positive results from using IGF-1 to help regenerate some damaged muscle tissue or connective tissue. I now have multiple sports hernias and some sort of connective tissue damage in my groin (going on 6 years now).

Surgery isn't an option for a long time. I'm not expecting a cure but I would be willing to take the IGF plunge if it will be any help at all.

This would make perfect sense to me RS. IGF is certainly an important part in muscle and connective tissue regeneration so seems logical that would assit you.

IGF has most of the beneficial properties of HGH, but HGH is required if you are concerned about tendon tissues.

Shit. I was afraid of this but was just too lazy to do the research.

I am almost positive it is ligament damage in my groin (doc said so). I wonder if the shit would help with my abdominal wall at all.

Jack's probably right here in as much as a combination of IGF and HGH would be the ideal way to go. I did read some research recently where they conducted tests on rats specifically to see if IGF or HGH would be of benefit in healing wounds and connective tissues. I can't locate that article now sorry but I know the results were that the group being injected with HGH had no significant improvement, the group with IGF had impressive improvement and the group taking both showed the best benefits overall.

Yes it did. The only one with no discernable improvement was the HGH only group. The other two had significant improvements in healing with the combi group on both peptides being overall the best.
