Do you think this would be a good idea..? I don't know much about it, but it sounds damn risky to me.. i am interested to hear what people say on this subject.

bulk up. im on a very solid diet to so im ready to go.

Its hard to say man. Some diabetics can manipulate there insulin to gain lean muscle but you need to know if you are one of thoes people. Your body might not be able to take the spike in insulin, you might put yourself into a coma. Which is no good. It would probably be really hard to find a doctor that would give you info on this. I dont think anyone in the medical community would want to condon you to use insulin to gain weight especially when you are a diabetic to begin with. I want to start using insulin in the near future and i know that no doctor is going to tell me anything about it. I dont know how much research you have done on this but you defenetly need to do lots. Sorry i cant help much with this. You just have to be safe about it.

well i have been researching this for about 4 months now. its safer for me to use it then it is for you, strictly due to the fact that im diabetic. but thanks for your help, il just have to read more about it!

I know for the most part its safer for a diabetic to increase or decrease there insulin compared to myself being non diabetic. I havent really run into many diabetics that have wanted to increase there dose to gain weight. Make sure you find out all you can cuz this could fuck you up if your not careful. See if you can find a doctor that would give you info on this. I would be hard to find one but it would be worth it.

What you want to do is look at what you usually do and keep doing that, but add a bodybuilding insulin protocol.

Basically you want your carbs to equal the amount of insulin it takes to store those carbs in muscle tissue. Most Insulin protocols take this into account so your best bet is to add that protocol to what your already doing. Also you may want to experiment with a high protien and fat with low sugar and carb diets. I've had some diabetics go off of insulin with this protocol. Also L-carnitine increases insulin sensitivity if you want to experiment with that. It all depends on your personal insulin sensitivity and how much you require.

Talk to an endocrinologist first before starting a insulin protocol for mass.

I am a type 2 and I am highly resistant, 4 to 1 carb to iu .Make plenty just can't use it. I have been using the illness I got for my advantage since it had no problem using me!

Ok here is what I do?
I use novilog for my fast acting and lantis for my slow I keep a constant gl level of 108-112 thats what I decided But I'll spike enough to make my endo pass out.
Lantis 200iu
Novilog what ever I want.
You are the only one that can answer this question and I understand why everyone shy's away from answering it. They are not diabetic.

The question is: Do you know what you are doing? Can you calculate your dosages to meat your carbs or are you lazy. How close can you keep you glucose where you want it?

I am an expert when it comes to this. when I first was diagnost i didn't take it real serous. I have had hypo so bad I passed out on numerous occasions and hospitalized twice for keto. Now that I said this I figured out,"Hey, maybe this isn't something to play around with!"

I have had plenty of time to perfect myself and discipline. I dose as high as 100iu of fast acting and not blink an eye. But I know how and when to handle it.
