how lucky are diabetics

now im not saying being diabetic is good but diabetics have a maiger advantage in bodybuilding, they make gains alot quicker then people who are not diabetic.

the reason why is because they need to take more insulin then the average man produces.

this in my case is un fair when a fully natural diabetic bodybuilder thinks they are better then any othe natural bodybuilder

now this topic i am wanting to look into, a friend of mine became diabetic a few years ago then started weight training he made tremendance gains and still gains every week, now of course we all compete together and against each other lol but he is against steroids but on purpose highered his insulin intake and still thinks this is no form of cheating so i would like to get your views across please

of course i am pissed of because he keeps calling me a cheater but hes not your views please

Diabetics aren't lucky, if anything they are in a very bad position. They have a hard time keeping weight at bay due to daily insulin shots and blood sugar fluctuations, as well as problems with stamina.

Being a diabetic is a huge disadvantage. Just imagine heart disease, kidney problems, liver problems and etc...

look your getting the wrong end of the stick diabeticas have a bigger advantage in bodybuilding if they always have a constant supply of insulin

the average diabetic takes 60iu a day

my mate on purpose take 140iu a day and i know others who do this and this is where he gets the idea from, he gets his meds for free of the doc so of course he will take advantage

I am diabetic and both of you are right.
I take 275iu of Lantis ED and Novilog 350iu a day. That's 625ius!(to be fair this is my dose plus I have ajusted for my cycle)
Have I gotton any bigger from insulin?
a Friend and I are both take Test Cyp, Tren, but I take insulin and he doesn't ok I've gotten bigger and the insulin has helped but think of the sides. Going for a stress test tuesday if this gives you a peak!

Um I agree with everyone who says its NOT a advantage. I'm Pretty much a type II. So no Shots, But my kidneys have failed on numerous occasions, I have a hard time eating enough calories to gain, and My cardio blows! I put on BF like it was going out of style too!

well i know nothing about insulin actually but just wondering...what would happen if you started takeing small doses of it yourself to help you out...would that work???

Insulin works, but unfortunately it doesn't differentiate between muscle and fat cells, so you will get big but you'll also get fat after insulin use. There are also a lot of other problems which can occur from insulin use, like problems with insulin sensitivity, which can be a big health issue.
