To Get The Body I Want I Have To Train More!

To build a fat free muscular physique requires 5 hours a day workouts and 6 days week training!
This is THE biggest conception ever to come out of the body building scene. Not only is it wrong, it is actually the very reason why people fail to see results at the gym or worst yet never end up at the gym in the first place. This misconception came about because pro’s in the 70’s and even at present used to spend hours at the gym 6-7 days a week. That kind of training for a natural bodybuilder is a deathtrap, the natural bodybuilder is literally digging up his or her own graves. Such a routine will not give you an ounce of muscle (if you are drug free) and it will actually cause you to gain fat and keep it.

When intensity is sufficient to stimulate muscular growth, recuperation has to be completed before any muscle growth can manifest, training on a daily basis leaves no recuperative time for the muscles at all. The muscle and the system at large defends such an abuse by getting weaker and putting on more fat to try and slow down the torture. I like to use this analogy. Think of building muscle as building a skyscraper. The workmen that demolish the existing building represent weight training, (call them workmen A) the workmen that build the foundation of the skyscraper represent recuperation (call them workmen B), the skyscraper itself is muscle growth which is our growth because it is the only way to lose fat permanently. Now if workmen A destroy the building and workmen B come a day later and build the foundation, and the preceding day workmen A come to destroy the work done by Workmen B, if this process continues a couple of times, workmen B will collapse and give up out of frustration no matter what income they earn. The same goes with muscle; if you stimulate muscle (workmen A) and don’t allow it to recover (workmen B job) then there will be no muscle growth (Skyscraper). Thinking of it this way helps clarify the concept.

The truth that magazines fail to tell you (for political reasons) is that all you need to stimulate muscle growth and lose fat is one brief intense (10-15 minutes) workout performed very infrequently (once every three weeks) doing so, you can actually transform your body in less than 12 weeks and actually reach your true genetic potential in less than 2 years rather than a decade people believe it takes
