Hello ladies and gentelmen,

I stumbled across this board while looking for other lifters who have faith. I've been reading posts for a few days and decided to register and become a valuable member of this online community. I think I have a lot to add to enrich the lives of most of you who call this place home. In the future, I will start a series of threads that aim to strengthen the spirit as well as the body. First, I will tell you a little about me.

My name is Jason but I prefer you call me Lift4Christ (cuz that's what I do!) or even L4C for short. I have been lifting for 5 years and have actually tried out for the Power Team 7 times. Tearing up phone books and bending frying pans is amazing and powerful way to show the youth all the love Christ has for them. I suspect lucky #8 try will be fruitful for me.

I used to frequent several bodybuilding sites where I dispensed bodybuilding knowledge and the word all at once. After a few years, I dropped out of site but soon realized the internet and this country needed me. I have returned with a vengence against evil, denile and double digit bodyfat. Get ready because Lift4Christ is here to pump you up...with Jesus!!!

BTW, I have nothing against spreading the Word, but this is a fitness board. However, I have to say that the Power Team is stupid and only shows glorification to man and not to God. The powerteam is defunct anyway. Who are you really?

I intend to learn and teach about fitness. I see no problem with spreading the word when it gives you all kinds of strength...not just the kind you use in the gym.

So what is your stand on freedom of speech in public about religion? IMO, it is ludicrous that one group such as muslims can preach their heresy while Christians are told that they can't display a cross in a public town square.
