Marinades

Hey guys -
Out of curiosity - how do you count the cals/carbs/etc in marinades?

For instance, I like to marinate my steak& chicken in italian dressing - but surely you wouldn't count a whole cup of dressing because when you take the steak out to cook it - most of the marinade is left behind....

What are your thoughts/experiences on this?

When I'm cutting, I don't use marinades because it is too hard to figure out kcal content. I use seasonings and tabasco sauce, but I completely drop any form of marinade.

Offseason, as long as the marinade is low kcal, I don't worry about it. And if it's a cheat meal, bring on the high kcal stuff!
