Default Working Out in the Mourning..

Hey Everyone.. I got a question.. is it a good or bad thing to do your workouts first thing in the mourning on an empty stomach.. for example.. Wake up at 7, workout from 7:15 to 8:00, then have my first meal at 9:00 ( consists of a big bowl of oatmeal and 4-5 eggwhites and 25g of protein in liquid form ).

Note that my workouts are not really heavy lifting because im not trying to gain muscle, just keep the muscle i have while cutting.. so i usually do 3-4 sets of each excersise where i can get to about 12 reps each time ( the last one of 2 reps become harder to do tho ).

Also note that i workout like this on Monday, Wed. and Friday.. On tuesday, thursday, saturday and sunday i do AM cardio on an empty tank.

TRAINING FIRST THING IN THE MORNING IS ACTUALLY GOOD BECAUSE GROWTH HORMONE LEVELS WILL BE ELEVATED , ALSO IS GREAT FOR FAT LOSS.

EATING A MEAL IN THE MORNING BEFORE WORKOUT MIGHT INTERFER WITH MAXIUM GROWTH LEVELS,

DRINKING A MEAL REPLACEMENT DRINK LESS THAN 30-45 MIN.AFTER THE WORKOUT HIGH IN CARBS AND PROTEIN WILL HELP WITH INSTANT ABSORBSION BY THE MUSCLES. THE ABOUT 1 HR. AFTER THAT EAT YOUR MEAL.

IF YOU EAT IN THE MORNING BEFORE YOUR WORKOUT WAIT ABOUT 1-2 HRS. THEN TRAIN, IF YOU HAVE ANY FOOD IN YOUR SYSTEM, THE BODY WILL HAVE TO BREAK DOWN THE FOOD BEFORE IT CAN ATTACK BODY FAT!!

I find I'm weak as hell in the AM...perhaps low muscle glycogen cause i usually can't even get a muscle pump..

Yeah.. but im weird scrapper.. my energy is highest around 10 mins after i wake up haha, i eventually get more sluggish as the day goes on, i've been like it my whole life lol.. plus.. work and stuff like that gets in the way of working out any other time fo the day :\

guess I'm screwed either way.... I work the midnight shift(7p-7a), and force myself to hit the gym on my way home even though I may be tired as hell.... I can't wake up (around 5pm) and hit the gym before work... I'm not a "morning" person...

i remember when i worked night shift for a while.. it totally screwed up my weigh tliftinf and diet lol, i had to put it on hold for the whole time i was night shift ( almost a month ) <img src="http://www.massmonsters.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif" alt="Frown" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> it really suck.. felt like i lost a lot of what i had gained from the lifting n shit.. o well, im just glad im outta that weird ass night shift now <img src="http://www.massmonsters.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

I think that working out in the am has alot of benefits. Test levels and growth levels are highest. It kicks up your metabolism first thing in the morning which is great for fat burning. It is all positive. I used to hate working out in the morning, but I had to start doing 6 months ago when my schedule changed to 12 hour shifts. I wake up and have breakfast, egg whites, oatmeal, and depending on if I'm dieting or trying to build mass, I'll have a bananna and glass of oj. My workout starts about an hour later followed by cardio, then if I'm building I'll have a high carb protein shake and then a meal an hour later adn if I'm dieting I'll wait an hour then have a lower carb shake followed my egg whites 2 hours after followed by my every 2 hour diet meal. Take care.
