Good Mornings are like a stiff leg deadlift only the bar is across the shoulders and the emphasis is on lumbar/low back developement. These can be done seated or standing. Just don't do seated with a weight belt on OUCH pinchy

I'm NOT trying to get a smaller waist at all with the rep deads...MASS Mass mAsS...I just meant that I have been doing deads as a mass movement, but that extended rep set of stretching 10 reps to 20 will KILL you...Now that shit makes lbs. all over you...hahahahaha...If you truly use a 10 rep weight, and stretch it out to 20, you will be absolutely wasted...

Try it for a workout and see if you feel little and svelte....no shit...

Zanes to me had the best and ideal physique. I just like that small, yet, strong waistline and V-tapered back. I expierienced the same problem with deads..a widening waistline. But i thought that deads have a tremendous mass building effect that you can't skip them like that. So i tried a variation...Smith machine deads...Cool...no more aching lower back. Now i can also focus more on contracting my abs and the upper back and traps in the upper part of the movement. No more inches on my waist also.It's great!

I personally stick with partial deads outta the power rack. I still find that I'm having trouble with my lower back as well but hell, I'm a glutton for punishment.

When I die I want to go like my grandfather, peacefully, in my sleep, not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car.
