...however I can no longer do the true squats, just the presses. An unfortunate old woman hit me while on my bike and blew out my left knee and shoulder. My luck is bad.......i've been hit a few times while on my bike.

that squats are king when trying to build mass or ass...haaaaa! Yes, I have a big fat squatting ass and I don't really need it to be bigger. I still squat, but not every week....about every other. Ya see, I been bbing not trying to be a power lifter and if you know anything about the difference then you'd understand. Trying to keep my waist small and not let my ass get too much bigger. I have no problem with mass on my legs so I don't need to squat every week. I do really like squatting though!

I believe this to be a myth. I have squated for 22 years and while my ass is round (and sweet! <img src="http://www.massmonsters.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->) It is not big. (wide) Squats make your whole body grow. if there was only one exercise I was allowed to do squat would be it.

Shit, honestly right now I feel worse than the "Disco BB'er." My back is all f'ed up... 2 herniated discs once again from SLDL's. Right now the most hardcore lifts are Dips and Pull=ups and any other lift that doesn't push down on the spine.

I miss my deads and squats. I was just getting my strength up in both of 'em and bam, stiff leg DLs popped dem discs again.
