In my opinion you should work both legs at the weight and reps your smaller side can handle.Eventually it will catch up to the stronger side therefore leaving them equal.

When massing up it is difficult to get symmetry, but you have to decide what you are willing to try. Leg extensions are hard on the knees but they can be done singly. You can do hack squats and leg presses as single leg, 45's single leg, leg extensions as single leg, but they are really hard and you have to be careful to avoid injury. Whatever your weakest side is that is the weight that you would normally want to work with to keep some symmetry.
Best advice? i as well think that you should avoid doing single leg workouts....i think that if you just work them the same your body should overcompensate for the weaker one and eventually they will be equal again....the site injections should help a little, but that can vary as well, so i wouldn't count on that....this will probably take a bit of patience but it will work out soon enough for ya...hang in there bro...
