Default overtraining any thoughts ?

hey im trying a new work out reg. workinmg out the same muscles every day with one day off saturday now i have been doing this for three weeks now and i have never felt so tight or seen more progress in any other thing that i have done.. now am i just a one in a million or a fluke do i really need days off during the week.. and by the way im not sore and i dont lose any strength i lift the same if now more week after week so what are your thoughts >>

O and what are your thoughts on Fury by mass quanties???

Default I&apos;d like to see the routine also...

You won't be able to keep that up for long no matter how young or fast healer you are.. I'd like to see the routine and your training history.. be careful.. you dont want the overtraining to lead to injury..

I have a buddy who does the same thing, he's all natural, and a good sized fella. I don't know how he gets away with it, but he does...Also he is 40...no figure that one out. I disagreed with that type of training, until he told me how he trained and i see the results...I guess everyone is different. I think if i trained like that i would overtrain within the first week, and i would have to spend about 4 hours in the gym to accomplish a full body workout...and would be completely exhausted.
I asked him how he trains, and he only does about 2 excercises per bodypart about 4-5 sets, going to absolute failure each set...maybe that is the secret, i don't know...But when i do one bodypart per day, (i'm doin about 5 excercises per large muscle group 3 for small, and about 3 sets each) i am sore for at least 1-2 days after the workout....and i'm only 24!
the only explanation i have is that each persons body reacts different to different types of training, and basically, the only secret is to find what works for you.

im 26 and i do chest 12-10-8-6-12 then move to another chest exe.and do 12 i use that for all my upper body the with about 30 sec in betewen sets anda min in between body parts thats pretty much it. It takes about 45 min to an hour to do all upper body

Your a porno builder! I love it when I see guys with big upper bodies and no leg muscle in porns...its pure hilarity!
Anyways....I guess you could get away with that. It sounds like you are just begining in the gym and you havent been hitting the weights for more than a month or so.
You'll grow no matter what you throw at your body. However, you really should start looking at a 3 day split there once your body starts to get run down, and it will in the next 3-8 weeks depending on your body. The body can only take sooo much.
One thing I liked when I was nutz in the gym was ....lets call it the Arnold split cause thats where I got it from.
Here it goes....
Day 1 pecs and back
day 2 shoulders bi's tri's
day 3 legs
day 4 same as day 1
day 5 same as day 2
day 6 same as day 3
day 7 rest

and repeat

I grew like a madman off that split. I would be doing it now but due to my job I am no longer able to do it. If you keep that up you'll grow. I had people telling me that I was over training my body... I was like shut the f*ck up. I wasn't over training because my muscles always fully recovered by my next workout and I was increacing in pounds more than any of my workout partners.
Proper diet is key when on that split....wanna know more, just ask.

REST AND FOOD MAKE THE MUSCLES REBUID, IF YOU KEEP TEARING THE MUSCLE IT WILL NOT GROW.

2 DAYS ON, 1 DAY OFF, 2 DAYS ON, 2 DAYS OFF

MON, TUES
WED: OFF
THURS, FRI
SAT, OFF
SUN, OFF

JUST DO MORE CARDIO AND MUSCLES WILL STAY FULL AND HARD.

THE MORE YOU TRAIN IN A WEEK THE LESS YOU WILL GROW.

ABS OR A MUSCLE TOO, DON'T OVERTRAIN THEM!!!!
ONCE A WEEK TOO!!!

Once a week is plenty for growth. You can train more often if you don't milk the muscles for all they are worth. On my bulking phases of training I often feel like I have the flu on Thursday evenings because of the total body ache. Overtraining, no. Underrecuperating, possibly.
You are right about training to failure. It is a key ingredient to maximum growth. If the muscle isn't aching, you are just faking.

i have been in the gym for 1yr and a half i did the body for life program for 12 weeks so i just got off that and now im doing this so its not like im just begining in the gym by any means and i try to do a half hour of cardio every day

I've had good success with my chest by training twice a week, but I hit everything else once (seperate night for bi's and tri's)
